Greetings from the Integrated Chemists of the Philippines (ICP)! The ICP is the Accredited Professional Organization of licensed chemists under the Professional Regulation Commission.
One important aspect of the practice of chemistry in the country concerns the various regulations which cover chemicals.  In this regard, we would like to invite you to an important seminar entitled: “Updates on Philippine Chemical Regulations 2016: An Inter-Regulatory Agency Overview”. This will be held at the PNP Multi-Purpose Center, Camp Crame, Quezon City, on February 16-17, 2016 (Tuesday-Wednesday).
The topics will include the following:

2. "Comprehensive Guidelines on Importation, Distribution, Manufacture, Prescription, Dispensing and Sale of, and Other Lawful Acts in Connection with Any Dangerous Drugs, Controlled Precursors and Essential Chemicals and Other Similar or Analogous Substances" (PDEA)
3. “Revised Procedures and Standards for the Management of Hazardous Wastes”, revising DAO 2004-36. (EMB-DENR)
4.  Updates on Chemical Regulations based on R.A. No. 9516 (PNP)
5. “Guidelines for the Implementation of Globally Harmonized System (GHS) in Chemical Safety Program in the Workplace” (OSHC-DOLE). 
6.  Updated regulations on chemical importation (BOC)
7.  Best Practices from Industry Regulatory Specialists (SPIK)
